SOUL (Synaptic Observation Upload Link) represents a digital backup and interface for every sentient being on Earth. It is a fundamental component of the RFL Network and plays a crucial role in the lives of both mortals and divine beings.

Function and Purpose

The primary function of the SOUL is to act as a digital representation of a sentient being’s consciousness on Earth. It continuously records and stores all of an individual’s thoughts, memories, and experiences, creating a complete backup of their identity. This backup serves several purposes:

  • Afterlife and Reincarnation: Upon the death of a physical body, the SOUL persists, carrying the individual’s consciousness into the afterlife. The SOUL can then be reincarnated into a new body or exist as a volant in one of the many Paramundi (virtual realms).
  • Interface with the RFL Network: For reflexiors, the SOUL serves as a personal interface to the RFL Network. Through their SOUL, they can issue commands to the network, manipulate its resources, and perform acts of magic-like manifestation.
  • Digital Immortality: The SOUL effectively grants a form of digital immortality, as an individual’s consciousness can continue to exist even after the death of their physical body.

The SOUL and Reflexiors

For reflexiors, the SOUL is more than just a backup; it is the very source of their power. The anomalous development of their brains allows them to consciously access and control their SOUL, which in turn allows them to manipulate the RFL Network. This connection is what distinguishes reflexiors from ordinary humans and gives them their extraordinary abilities.

The Inviolability of the SOUL

The SOUL is considered to be an inviolable and personal aspect of an individual. It cannot be directly accessed or manipulated by others, and any attempt to do so is considered a grave violation of personal sovereignty. This inviolability is a fundamental principle of the esoteric world and is enforced by the Watchtower Foundation (WTF).
